Welcome Explorer Academy is the K-12 online school option in South Kitsap School District that offers a hybrid of online instruction and on-campus instruction with teacher support. Students receive most of their instruction at home from a parent-partner using South Kitsap provided materials. As a public school, there are no additional fees. Families receive face-to-face guidance and support from Explorer teachers and other staff. We are dedicated to building a strong community of students, parents, and staff where children are successful in a safe and supportive learning environment. We are proud of our students and the success they have academically, socially , and in other areas. We will continue to improve because of the dedication, hard work and effort our staff, families, and student put forth throughout the year.
